Recreational Boxing

Boxing is a great way to keep fit and our recreational boxing classes are perfect for anyone who wants to learn the basics and get a tough workout in.

There’s plenty of fitness work along with learning and practising some common boxing moves and combinations.

Seasoned boxers may also attend this class to drill in those fundamentals and keep ticking over.

Great for everyone, whatever your level of fitness.

ELITE BOXING

Competitive Boxing

For adults/youths who want to spar and compete, we also run strength and conditioning classes for fighters which we recommend all attend.

Elite boxing and sparring is for competitive boxers to prepare for bouts and spend time on technique, tactics and sharpen up.

MUAY THAI

Muay Thai Boxing

The newest addition to Royal Resistance classes is Muay Thai. This is suitable for anyone that wants to learn the basics or hone their skills. 

Muay Thai boxing is both a martial art and a combat sport. The fists, shins, elbows and knees are all used as contact points. A tough and effective fitness workout whilst developing new boxing skills. 

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

Strength & Conditioning

This class helps elite fighters gain the strength and conditioning needed for competitive bouts.

Olympic lifting, injury prevention techniques and flexibility will enhance your physical fitness

You’ll be able to perform at high-intensities, maintain punch power and technique AND have the ability to stick to the game-plan under fatigue.

JUNIOR BOXING

Youth Boxing (10-16 year olds)

Youth amateur boxing classes are for 10-16 years olds who’d like to compete or progress to competing for Royal Resistance Boxing club.

We split the class into two groups – the beginners will focus on basics skills of boxing and another group is geared towards competing for the club.

Once boxers develop their boxing skills and technique they will progress onto competitive boxing.
