What is Royal Resistance?

We are a boxing gym affiliated with England Boxing and deliver junior, youth, and adult boxing sessions for all levels. We also have Muay Thai sessions, yoga, and the best Strength & Conditioning classes.

All classes take place in a high-energy, friendly, encouraging environment. The motivating music and inspiring instructors will motivate you to run, lift, and work harder than ever before! Click HERE to book a FREE class.

Will I be okay if I’m a beginner or not already in shape?

You do not need to worry! We welcome all beginners and have a lot of them training and progressing with their health and fitness journey. We look after all of our first-timers.

To make the most of your first session, we recommend arriving 10 minutes early so we can explain the session, show you RR and introduce you to your instructor.

How often should I go?

We recommend three to four sessions per week as an optimal number, with two sessions per week at a minimum, if you’re committed to seeing a real change in your body and your energy levels.

Listen to your body — if your muscles are very sore, give them time to repair themselves and get to a yoga class/stretching class to help recover.

Which session is best for me?

We recommend going to sessions you enjoy as you are likely to stick with them, progress and achieve your goals. Recreational Boxing is targeted to new boxers, those wanting to get fit and learn to box. Competitive boxing is for carded boxers only that compete under England boxing. Strength and Conditioning is for anyone wanting to get fit and train like a competitive boxer. Please fill in the form HERE book a free class with us.

How long will it take to see results?

Members see results fast! If you are training 3-5 times a week, you should start to see & feel a change in your body in two weeks. Your loved ones will probably see a difference in five weeks. But you will notice a psychological changes almost immediately. You’ll feel better about yourself, you’ll have more energy and you’ll be more motivated to train.
